Are you ready for Denver Fashion Weekend in April? Well you have to get through March first and between March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day and the possible brink of spring, we are so excited for this month. Whether you are a super fashion fan, just enjoy looking at nice clothes, or simply appreciate the art of fashion, you just have to attend these fashion events hosted throughout the Mile High City.
Sip & Shop at Gaylord Street
When: Thursday, March 10, 5 – 8 p.m.
Where: 1034 S Gaylord St
The Low Down: Enjoy the best of the unique stores on charming Old South Gaylord Street. You can enjoy libations from The Bottle Shop while purchasing some fabulous items from the various boutiques. There will be special promotions and door prizes. The shops include Barbara & Co., Two Sole Sisters, StyleTribe Underground, Wish, Tended Thicket and Designs by Hannah.
Neiman Marcus “Spring Trends” Fashion Luncheon
When: Friday, March 11 from 12-4 p.m.
Where: Four Seasons Hotel Denver

Denver SneakerFest

The Low Down: Dear Denver sneaker lovers, this event is just for you. Brought to the Mile High City by Sick Kicks Society of Denver and Kickspawn.com, this national tour has been doing shows around the country for the past year and have decided to bring the buy sell and trade event to Denver.
Fashion Camp at Green Spaces in Downtown
When: Saturday, March 19 from 10 am – 5 pm
Where: Green Spaces Downtown
Admission: $115
The Low Down: The fashion mavens in the making will have a chance to make an outfit out of recycled clothing materials with Saraphina Mesmer, learn the importance of feeling beautiful and being able to express themselves and their individual style with editor of the Denver Style magazine, Heather Okimoto. They will also learn how to walk the runway and pose for the camera with model, pop singer, stylist and producer, Dorian Phaero. Last but not least, the campers will have their hair and makeup done with local stylists.

Visiting Artist, Scholar, and Designer Program at RMCAD
When: Wednesday, March 23 at 7 pm
Where:Mary Harris Auditorium on RMCAD’s campus
Admission: FREE
The Low Down: Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) presents a series that brings artists and designers from all over to provide insight on their process and art. With humor and wit, these lectures are guaranteed to be a good time accompanied with the FREE snacks, beer and wine. On March 23, cartoonist, Jim Woodring will host the event focusing on “Making Light” where there were once shadows.

RAW: Denver Presents SIGNATURE at City Hall
When: Thursday, March 24 at 7 pm

The Low Down: This is a night for creatives. You can mingle with fellow fashion lovers while shopping and meeting vendors. The RAW Community will also be showcasing the latest in Denver fashion with a runway presentation along with live music and other performing arts.
