While Denver has not quite grasped the concept of spring with its crazy winter weather, we sure are ready for the hot April events that are bound to heat up the Mile High City. The magazine is excited to honor  the iconic Tabatha Coffey with The Lifetime Achievement Award and the talented DJ Muldoon with The Independent Platform Artist of the Year Award during  The 2016 Southwest Hairstyling Awards.

Day Two – Local designers will showcase various non-traditional shows like plus size fashion, petite designs, tattoos and not your average models. Beauty comes in all forms, shapes and sizes. Last year, this show was a fan favorite so we had to bring it back. One of 303 Magazine‘s producers, said “Fashion usually has high standards, and until now, we stuck to those standards. To go against the rules of fashion is scary, but we’re proud to be a part of the plus-sized-model movement happening all over the world…. It’s a celebration of the fashion scene in Denver. The idea is to showcase local talent and build a solid fashion community.”

Day Three – It will be full of local and national designers that will give you the chance to snag some pieces straight off of the runway. Many of the hottest trends for Spring will be highlighted on this day.

Day Four – The hair show is the event we all look forward to the most. The creativity paired with unparalleled fun is a fan favorite. From tremendously crafted costumes to the beautifully designed tresses, hairstylists from all over Colorado will uniquely showcase the remarkable world of hair.

Day Five – Boudicca is all about the hair and makeup masters coming together to share secrets and learning about new beauty trends. One of the subjects is hair color which will be displayed through live demos and pre-done models. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the host, Eden Sassoon’s organization Beauty Gives Back in support of The Thirst Project.
