This week, Denver breweries want to help you find a way to incorporate beer into your Thanksgiving dinner. Stop by Epic Brewing Company to try classic Thanksgiving side dishes paired with Epic’s best beers. The World of Beer is also hosting a Friendsgiving dinner, which will include a four-course meal, all featuring a special Samuel Adams Beer. If that is not enough, both Oskar Blues Grill ‘n Brew and Wynkoop Brewing Co. are both hosting beer parties. The Low Down: Zengo is offering a new menu filled with dishes inspired by Chef Sandoval’s recent visits to Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Thailand. In honor of the new menu, Zengo is hosting a VIP cocktail reception to meet with Chef Sandoval and a three-course dinner featuring some of the new menu items. The menu showcases some of Asia’s distinct flavors, while continuing to offer some of the guest favorite Latin focused dishes. The Low Down: The World of Beer is hosting a four-course dinner to introduce Samuel Adams’ Grapefruit Rebel IPA. The first course will include Boston Lager paired with cornbread, the second is Winter Lager paired with Colorado Chili and the third Rebel IPA paired with Pumpkin Spice Wings, and finally Utopias paired with 70 percent Dark Cacao. The Low Down: For the 13th year, Oskar Blues is excited to hold its annual Oskar Blues CANiversary! The night will begin with live music from the Musketeer Gripweed and be followed by Boulders own Hot Soup. Special beers will be brewed and canned specifically for the event, but don’t worry, all your favorite Oskar Blues beers will also be on tap.
