Best & Worst Beauty of the 2015 Grammys

Live music, must-see fashion and beauty are a few of our favorite things about the Grammys. The red carpet was littered with success and tragedy last night at the 2015 Grammy Awards and some of our favorite celebrity beauties fell short of a win. However, a few stars and their makeup artists displayed bold choices in style and color palettes, conquering the night.

And the award for best lip color goes to you JHud. The perfect accent to an all white gown and minimalistic accessories make the perfect backdrop for a thick cat-eye and this stunning lip look.

WORST: Charli XCX

While there is always a place for well-organized chaos, the red carpet has never been our first choice. Charli XCX looks as though she should be doing the walk of shame not a walk down the red carpet.

BEST: Katy Perry

Katy debuted her new lilac locks with out her shark wingmen last night and it was a hit. Tousled waves and chandelier earrings frame her face beautifully. Katy balanced out her brave new do with a nude high gloss lip.

WORST: Iggy Azalea

Who told Iggy that her hair was set to stroll down the red carpet? This bird’s nest is top heavy and distracts from her truly gorgeous gown. Iggy’s look falls even flatter with lack luster nudes and barley pink lips.

BEST: Beyoncé

It’s no surprise, the Queen B does it again. The surprise comes in the form of her quiet approach to her makeup. Combing super natural makeup with mermaid locks is a look we love.

WORST: Madonna

While veils and accessories can take a simple look to couture in one graceful move, this was not the case with Madonna’s matador get up. Between the flat rose lip and too much foundation, Madonna looked more costume ready than Grammy winner.

BEST: Haim

Three sisters, three gorgeous hair dos. The ladies of Haim wowed the crowd with easy chic. Long beach waves and bold brows give these rockers the magnetism they need to pull you right in.

BEST: Jessie J

Sleek and sexy in her Ralph & Russo gown, Jessie J made us swoon with her deep berry lip and slicked back hair. Everything about her look is stunningly couture.
