Margs‘ first location opened on May 13, 2011 in LoDo. Ever since then the lunch and happy hours have been bustling with people. Of course when the founders of Margs choose their locations they strategically choose places that would receive a lot of foot traffic. However, the decision to nestle Margs into the perfect spot isn’t the only reason this restaurant is constantly packed.
Margs offers an eclectic menu filled with food that keeps you coming back for more. All of their dishes are made fresh and use ingredients that are locally sourced. Margs even freshly presses every single tortilla and what goes into these freshly pressed tortillas isn’t your average meat and cheese. The cuisine is inspired by world fare, which is why on Margs’ menu you can find tacos and cocktails inspired by Indian food, Italian food and many other cultures in-between. With a variety of margaritas on the menu, Margs is the perfect place to celebrate before DFW. If you’re stumped on which cocktail to try, sample their Vanilla- Coconut cocktail. This delicious drink includes vanilla bean infused El Jimador Silver, Coco Lopez coconut cream, Triple Sec and fresh lime.
If you feel yourself getting hungry, we recommend trying the Korean taco. This taco is a must try and it is one of Margs’ most popular tacos for a reason. This taco is filled with slow-roasted pork, cucumbers, scallions, hoisin sauce and Sriracha. You can expect to try Margs Korean taco at DFW. But if you’re not one for spicy food, Margs will feature a few other signature tacos on Sunday.
Overall, it seems that the Margs’ team is excited about being apart of DFW. They believe that DFW is a celebration, and the best way to celebrate is with some tasty Mexican food. Of course, DFW isn’t the only big thing the Margs team is working on. They continue to add more exotic drinks to the menu and are planning on opening a new location in California soon. They are even working on rolling out a pizza concept. Come celebrate Margs at Denver Fashion Weekend for a night of fun, fashion and of course delicious food.
