This past Thursday, one of Denver’s most happening blocks put together its annual winter Larimer Square Fashion Show at EDGE bar, the perfect location for a fall/winter show.

For many that don’t know, Larimer Square boasts some of best shopping and restaurants in Denver, and with its winter show we got to get a peek into some of the boutiques that make Larimer Square one of the best places to shop locally in Denver.

If you missed out on the chance to check out what Larimer square has to offer, here’s a look into some of the boutique’s featured looks:

Larimer square has been the center of the city featuring shopping since 1858, but in no way is this shopping area set in its old ways. Larimer square continues to be one of most vogue places to shop and dine in Denver. And there was no better way to celebrate Larimer Square’s shopping than having its fashion show take place in the Four Seasons bar, EDGE.

The show started off at five, but the show wasn’t you average fashion show. The models strutted their way through the bar, which seems like an odd place to have a fashion show,  but EDGE bar isn’t your average grimy downtown place to grab a beer. The modern, and rich interior of EDGE bar, mixed with fabulous tunes, was the perfect environment to have Larimer Square’s Winter Fashion show take place. The show gave fashionistas the chance to mingle, all while learning about all 15 of the local boutiques featured in the show. The amount of local boutiques featured in the show, along with the variety of clothing, accessories, shoes and jewelry was exuberant. We saw everything from funky swimwear to men’s apparel and women’s street style.

Among some of the featured boutiques  was Blush, Haliee Grace, FRINJE,  Timbuk2, Moda Man, John Fluevog and John Atencio. Despite the amount of boutiques it seemed that every look was different from the next, leaving the crowd drooling for more. The shoes, the jewelry and the clothes were on point, and for Larimer Square it was a successful night indeed. The show not only was fun, but fashionistas alike left knowing a little bit more about the shops on Larimer Square.

With so many unique boutiques and such a long history, it seems that Larimer square really is the place to shop in Denver this winter season.
