Created by Dick Clark in 1973, the American Music Awards has since been an annual favorite for watching today’s best rock, pop, rap and up-and-coming artists. This year’s show aired last night with 15 performances and 23 categories of awards.

Of course we love awarding artists who’ve made it big in the last year including Katy Perry, Lorde, Imagine Dragons and more, but at 303 Magazine, we love seeing the red carpet fashion. Whether it was terrible or head-to-toe incredible, we’ve put a list together of the most memorable looks.

BEST

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn was stunning in this shiny gold gown on the red carpet. It isn’t showing too much of her body, but shows enough to tell that she’s looking good. We can’t wait to see Munn on season three of The Newsroom.

Bleona Qereti

International recording artist Bleona Qereti opted for something we might have seen Rihanna wear at last year’s AMAs and it’s not going over very well. Maybe she wasn’t getting enough attention as an artist before and wanted to do something that would get her a little more Internet famous overnight?

BEST

Fergie

New momma Fergie is looking better than ever and we’re loving this high-slit gown. It embraces Fergie’s curves but keeps it classy with the black color and gold accents.

WORST

Elizabeth Banks

Elizabeth Banks is also on the worst list because this dress just seems tacky. There’s too much pattern and texture, making it look like something someone’s grandmother made for the homecoming dance. Banks looks beautiful but another dress might put her on the “best” list.

BEST

Jhene Aiko

She might be new in the music scene, but Jhene Aiko looks festive and beautiful in this red gown. It still gives her a flattering figure, while being full at the bottom with a dainty shape on top.

Kate Beckinsale

At 41, Kate Beckinsale still dazzles the red carpet and this winter white gown is doing only amazing things for her rocking body. Her million dollar diamond necklace is incredible, too.
