Whether you are heading back to high school, back to college, or neither, fall is near. You may just be anticipating the change of season and want to get enthralled with some new outfit ideas. Who doesn’t anticipate one of the most beautiful times of year in September?
The leaves change and it adds a beauty to nature that’s not quite like anything else. It may still be seven weeks away, but you may be preparing to go back to school, and everyone knows the school year can get hectic, so you have to think about fall clothing now. Not only can all of the trees start anew, but so can all of us. As the seasons change, it allows us to rejuvenate our wardrobes and ourselves.
Here are some back to school outfit ideas highlighting fall trends to help get you inspired!
Outfit 1: Funky Fresh
It’s always fun to play with texture. Combining floral and jean is a great way to do this when transitioning into the fall season. We are seeing the ‘60s come back with flirty mini skirts and dresses, and knee-highs. This dress plays off of that idea by showing off a woman’s curves and legs. Stylish sneakers are a fun and flirty way to keep an outfit fashionable, but comfortable. I added the chain necklace for a bit of flare and the watch to complete this classic, funky fresh look.

Outfit 2: Boho Chic
Floral kimonos are a beautiful way to keep summer alive! This is also a unique wash of denim that adds a trendy vibe to such a thoughtful outfit. A reasonable wedge shoe and edgey accessories add a little jazz to complete the look.

Outfit 3: Pretty in Print
This outfit is a breathtaking way to show off some of fall’s trends. Oversized printed cardigans with a pop of colored denim becomes effortlessly chic in this ensemble. I also threw in a mixed print combo. This is another easy and fun way to add texture to your outfit! The pyramid studs, backpack, and stiletto booties help this look reach it’s full potential with some edge.

Outfit 4: Flirty Flashback
I thought an outfit dedicated to the ‘60s being back in action was a necessity. This dress highlights the curves of a woman, and it’s truly an updated, flirty flashback. You can’t go wrong with navy. The Kenneth Cole handbag is a staple, and the shoes and sunglasses are the cherry on top of this sundae.
