The Schomp BMW Denver Polo Classic hosted its 27th-annual Del Frisco’s/Sullivan’s Black tie ball this past Friday night and the event brought out some pretty impressive looks. Usually the spotlight is on the ladies as we watch out for their fun and festive gowns. But the men of the event took style to new heights this year through festive bow ties, patterned jackets, and fresh looking suits.

We’re all quite used to the classic black tie white shirt combo, so it was especially impressive when we found Jake Henrich and friend Chris Cornelius in patterned bow ties. The two kept it classic with grey hues but mixed things up with pattern and texture. The polka dot bow tie brought some quirky vibes to a black suit and the plaid made for some needed eye candy.

As the night progressed we noticed that these two weren’t the only ones breaking away from traditional menswear. Craig Evans wasn’t afraid to incorporate some color into his look for the evening. His bow tie came in a cobalt blue making for a stand out piece. A contrasting canary yellow stripe worked well with some purple floral designs giving this piece a artistic quality. Auctioneers Adam Kevil and Gary Corbett looked crisp in a colored button ups. Adam opted for a mint green top while Gary took it bold with a jewel tone purple button up. The two were fresh to death in white and creme suits that screamed summertime.

The Schomp BMW Denver Polo Classic Black Tie Ball provided us with some great takes on traditional menswear. Whether it was through color, print or texture, men were not afraid to jazz it up through style. To see all our photos from the 27th-annual Schomp BMW Black tie ball click here.
