Railroad Earth’s 4th Annual Hangtown Halloween Ball just recently released the first wave of their lineup for the festival that takes place annually in Placerville, CA over the the weekend of October 24-26. Early bird tickets are on sale now for about $145 for the three-day pass, plus fees and additional parking/camping passes. The initial lineup boasts an impressive collection of bluegrass, funk, soul and folk music. The Hangtown Halloween Ball is a perfect excuse for a fall road trip out to California. It’s timing is also impeccable- just when you’re feeling the end-of-summer blues and you’ve packed away your camping gear and festival costumes until next summer, you get a chance for redemption.
Obviously, our gracious hosts, Railroad Earth, will play multiple sets each day. Railroad Earth will also be playing at Red Rocks on Saturday, August 2nd with Greensky Bluegrass and the Wood Brothers.
