Thursday night, British singer/ songwriter Dan Croll will make his way through Denver, headlining the Larimer Lounge with South of France. His tour follows the release of this first full-length album Sweet Disarray on Capitol Records in early March. While this may be the album’s debut, it includes previously released hit singles “From Nowhere,” “Compliment Your Soul,” “In/Out,” and “Home.”

In 2013, Croll supported Bastille during their October UK tour and accompanied Imagine Dragons on their own European tour the following month. While touring the US, Croll made a pit stop at Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he performed his singles “From Nowhere” and “Home,” granting this budding star some well-deserved exposure.

Before garnering worldwide attention for his music, he attended the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts or LIPA where he fine-tuned his natural abilities. There he won the national Songwriter of the Year award from the Musician’s Benevolent Fund and worked one-on-one with Sir Paul McCartney.

Croll’s music fuses subdued vocals with patches of ripe guitar riffs and gentle keyboard melodies. But it’s his quirky lyrics and boy-next-door persona that has his music complimenting our souls. And his stripped-down acoustic renditions are where this artist really shines. His music is fun, creative, and wholly likable. Don’t miss him this Thursday at Larimer Lounge, you can purchase tickets http://www.larimerlounge.com/event_details.cfm?blogid=1426.
