Taking Back Sunday have released the second song from their upcoming full-length record Happiness Is — “Stood A Chance.”

Exciting, vibrant and climatically poignant, “Stood A Chance” is a return to form for the former pop rock-radio-dynamos that first broke onto the scene with their wildly, ever-popular “Cute Without The ‘E’ (Cut From The Team).” Their midnight release of  “Stood A Chance” is by no means a modern “Cute Without The ‘E’…,” but it shows promise.

And if it’s any indication of how the rest of their forthcoming sixth full-length, we’re all in for the record that we’ve been waiting for TBS to make since 2006’s commercial masterpiece (and 2009-2011’s follow-up commercial collapses), Louder Now.

Without further adieu…
