Best friends and co-founders of Carbon38, Katie Warner Johnson and Caroline Gogolak talk about the importance of feeling confident and fashionable while staying active:
“A woman should feel as excited to get dressed to go to the gym as she would putting on a cocktail dress” Johnson said. “It [Carbon38] is a premium product so it’s a premium price, but you know so is your body. Your body is a premium product, so why not clothe it in the best stuff?”
“You can wear our products to more than just the gym” Gogolak agreed. “Our customers can pair their leggings with a motorcycle jacket or sweater and wear it long after leaving a yoga class.”

Did it double from the gym to the street?: Absolutely. I wore the whole outfit to a zumba class, and paired the jacket with skinny jeans and a graphic tee for happy hour.
Created just over a year ago, Carbon38 is just beginning to hit the ground running (pun intended).
“We want to get the word out” Johnson said. “There is this whole new generation of women who are wives, mothers, and entrepreneurs that need a wardrobe that moves everywhere that they do. And we want to be that wardrobe.”
