What: Three New Year’s Day brunches that will cure your celebration hangover

Whatever your plans are for New Year’s Eve, one thing is pretty likely: it’s gonna be a long night. Start your year off at one of these Denver favorites for a filling brunch on January 1st to help ease your way into 2014.

1. Punch Bowl Social’s Recovery Brunch

When: 8am-3pm

This expansive Broadway gathering place is great for late night bowling, but they also offer weekend brunch with skillets and milkshakes and plenty of drink option. This week, Punch Bowl Social is opening up at 8am on New Year’s Day for a Recovery Brunch. Here you can order up entrees like the PBS Waffle, a malted waffle topped with poached pears, whipped mascarpone, vegan sausage, and real Maple Syrup to keep your celebration going.

 2. Sputnik’s New Year’s Day Hangover Brunch

When: 10:30am-2:30pm

 Celebrating it’s 10th anniversary on New Year’s Eve this year, you’re sure to not be the only hungover one at brunch if you head to Sputnik’s this January 1st. Grab a South Broadway Hash and a $6 carafe of  mimosa or a $5 Bloody and you’ll be ready to tackle those resolutions by the 2nd.

3. Tamayo’s Bottomless Brunch

When: 10:30am-2:30pm

 Tamayo’s bottomless brunch is a tasty stop on any weekend with its variety of small plates all available in unlimited quantities so you can find your favorites. On New Year’s Day, Tamayo will be open for brunch and serving up both bottomless small plates like carnitas tortas and sweet pan dulce along with free flowing cocktails all for $35/per person.
