Louisiana’s own Dax Riggs, formerly of the doom metal band Acid Bath, returns to Denver on Friday, November 8th at the Larimer Lounge. Riggs, now a blues-filled guitarist owning the stage with a garage rock infused sound and penchant for doom and gloom lyrical content, will be joined by Terraplane Sun and PrettyMouth.

36155_432631421579_2934114_nRiggs currently has three albums released under his solo title — 2007s We Sing Of Only Blood Or Love, 2008s If This Is Hell, Then I’m Lucky and his most recent effort from 2010, Say Goodnight To The World. Filled with morose and morbid content that may shock even the most despondent of fans, Riggs brings the macabre back to Denver. Giving us all one night of hell that may be well deserved — as it should lead to quite the memorable stage performance, and a terribly good time.

Come on out to Larimer Lounge, November 8th to see Dax Riggs in the flesh. It’ll be one hell of a good time.
