You know her from The Voice. That exotic bombshell famous for singing alongside Michael Jackson on his “This Is It,” tour. The one that should’ve (duh) won the whole shebang, but didn’t. Judith Hill is a jaw-droppingly gifted musician that crosses genres like nobody’s business. She sings the blues in Japanese, created music for Spike Lee and has spent the holidays with Stevie Wonder.
Hill is currently on tour with Josh Groban, but is taking a break to play a show at The Soiled Dove Underground. TiVo New Girl and The Mindy Project, and go see this glam rocker play tonight at 8 PM.

Any moments with Stevie Wonder, that you care to share?
One of my best moments was Christmas Eve in Rio with Stevie and his family. We had a big show at the Copacabana Beach on Christmas Day. But, for Christmas Eve, I spent it with Stevie, Gilberto Gil, and family. It was a night to remember. We sang Christmas songs around the piano, danced, and carried on all night.
What was it like working with Adam Levine? Did you get to know Shakira and Blake well, too?
I really enjoyed working with Adam. I respect him so much for his musicianship. Every week, he was very thoughtful and passionate about seeing me do well on the show, and he had great advice for me. I felt like he had my back. I didn’t have chance to interact with Blake and Shakira very much, but they both were great coaches.
