78460645 Van Gogh Vodka has launched new flavors that are making me thirsty for summer.

I love drinking alfresco and Van Gogh has a few recipes that will encourage you to relax and soak up the sun on those days that brunch runs into lunch.   Van Gogh Vodka is the brand that’s been a pioneer in the flavored vodka category for over fifteen years, and they are doing it well.

Their super-premium vodkas can stand alone as a cocktail in a bottle: simply chill, pour and serve; making anyone an instant cocktail expert. I love the simplicity of having a flavored vodka on hand.  They also mix so well!   Shake and stir their vodkas to create libations that will encourage everyone to linger a little longer over a friendly, laid-back meal.

The recipes I have included feature the “Cool Peach,” and “Double Espresso” flavors and are created by the cocktail guru, Jonathan Pogash.

Use Palisade peaches when the recipe calls for them in a recipe to get a juicy perfect peachy flavor every time.  Not into fancy cocktails? Just muddle a peach in a glass and pour Van Gogh Cool Peach vodka over the top with ice! That sounds like summer to me.

This is a delicious peach flavored Arnold Palmer!  I think this is a great idea to serve on your patio with friends after a hike in the hot sun.

How can we forget my favorite meal? Brunch!  Yum.

The Best Bellini Everimage002

1 oz. Van Gogh Cool Peach Vodka
1/4 of a ripe peach**
1 tsp. agave nectar
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
3 oz. Prosecco
Directions: In a mixing glass, muddle the peach, agave, and lemon juice.  Add the Prosecco with ice and gently fold the ingredients (without stirring too much, as this will remove bubbles).  Strain into a chilled champagne flute.  Top off with extra Prosecco. Garnish with a  fresh peach slice.
**if peaches are not in season: Substitute the ripe peach, agave, and lemon juice for 1 1/2 oz. of store-bought “Peach Nectar”.

This next cocktail can be for brunch, or as dessert to a nice dinner.   Van Gogh’s new Double Espresso Vodka flavor with milk or cream, and serve it in a martini glass with a dash of cinnamon on top for an instant creamy dessert cocktail.  It’s like an instant iced latte.

Stock your liquor cabinet with these new Van Gogh Vodkas for easy and refreshing summer cocktails. They retail for around $27.00 so they won’t break the bank either.  Simple and good.
