This November, Denver professionals slipped into their fanciest threads and came out in full force for a truly awesome and heartwarming event.
On November 3rd the 11th annual Cocktails & Karaoke event benef
iting the Kunsberg School for chronically ill kids at National Jewish Health was held, raising nearly $50,000. The 200-plus attendees were entertained by sing-along classics performed by their peers with the help of a live band and a live auction, the undeniable highlight of the evening.
Funds raised go toward providing medical care, uniforms and other necessities for the 90 kindergarten through eighth-grade students that attend Kunsberg, a free school through National Jewish Health focused on providing a healthy, protected and friendly learning environment for students that typically have some sort of chronic illness.
Held at Casselman’s Bar and Venue, the event was one for the books. From the live auction where guests bid for a worthy cause to karaoke, and of course cocktails, the benefit was successful in its goal of raising money for the well-deserving kids Kunsberg School.
