Superfruit Acai Cooler

An ice cold cocktail served with a few light snacks in a trendy setting in downtown Denver doesn’t sound too shabby…especially when it feels like you’re sitting in Midtown Manhattan. Walking into the posh Four Seasons Hotel at 14th and Lawrence melts stress and relaxes shoulders, especially if you put a Superfruit Cooler with fresh blueberries in your hand. While you take down some booze, you might as well up your antioxidants levels.

Small bites, overloaded with flavor, accompanying light beverages… catching the theme, perhaps? First, tackle the mouth-watering EDGE slider–prime Angus beef with caramelized onions, jalapeños add a little heat and a light hint of horseradish sauce finishes the dish. But, the truffle oil send-off lassos all of the flavors of this petite patty. Next, go for the simple red curry chicken satay topped with just the right touch of sesame seeds. The sauce is bursting with so much peanut flavor that it almost seems like you are eating the pure, unadulterated stuff.

Last, but certainly not least, catch a taste of the crowd-pleasing–spicy tuna poke. The combination of spicy chunked tuna, avocado, and a wasabi sauce is served in a small mason jar, accompanied by crisp wonton crackers.  The soft texture of the tuna with a creamy chunk of avocado on a crisp wonton takes eaters on a texture and flavor ride. A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou.
