David Byrne & St. Vincent Collaborate on New Album

Cover art for Love This Giant

Talking Heads frontman and indie rock elder statesman David Byrne has collaborated with the seemingly ubiquitous Annie Clark aka St. Vincent for a new album called Love This Giant. On paper, it sounds like a dream come true for fans of either artist. It combines the old with the young and bridges gaps between generations.

In recent years Byrne has collaborated with a slew artists, from Dirty Projectors and Arcade Fire, to Thievery Corporation and N.A.S.A. St. Vincent has been equally busy contributing to tracks with Kid Cudi and Bon Iver. But unlike those other guest appearances, Love This Giant will be a full collaborative effort.

Based on the first single, “Who,” which you can hear below, it sounds like these two powerhouse performers won’t disappoint. If you really dig on what you hear, you can head over to the album’s official website and download the track free, by simply typing in your email address.

Love This Giant hits shelves Sept. 11 on 4AD Records, followed by a 24-date tour in the fall. Right now there are no plans to stop in Denver, but you can check out the dates below:
