Bragging about the Mile High club is a full-time gig. What can we say? We’ve got a lot to boast about around here. Fortunately, thanks to the elevation, we’ve got stronger lungs with which to do so. Or at least it’s a theory I’m working on. In case your smart phone is the closest you’ve got to an idiot box (or you’re smart enough to keep the tube from ruling your life), Denver shadow dance collective The Silhouettes were named runners up on America’s Got Talent last season. If you’re not familiar with the televised variety show, just know they bested serious competition in the process. This Saturday, January 21, is their official homecoming show at DCPA’s Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Prepare to be wowed.
