Denver Fashion Weekend (DFW) was a great reminder of the creativity and blossoming fashion scene that exists in Colorado (thanks to all the participants and supporters!). And, just on the heels of this monumental event, is another fashion extravaganza. This Sunday, October 23rd from 11am to 6pm, Fashion Denver will present “REVOLUTION”, an event showcasing over 100 years of fashion at the historic Grant-Humphreys mansion (770 Pennsylvania Street).

The all day fashion fete will begin with a series of runway shows featuring designs from 20 Denver-based designers, with local entrepreneurs, artists and musicians modeling the styles down the runway.  The occasion will conclude with a fashion finale that will showcase designs that represent a specific decade from the last century. Featured designers include:

Guests will have a chance to purchase styles from more than 20 local designers (with the first 50 shoppers earning a tote bag designed by artist Max Kauffman), witness a live fashion shoot with photographer Thomas Cooper, relax with a mini-manicure offered by Tootsie’s, and be sketched by artist Tricia Hoke.

Special guests and performances will include 9 News and Metromix’s host Heidi McGuire partaking in modeling festivities, singer/songwriter Chella Negro giving an acoustic performance and newly crowned Ms. Denver Modernism, Grace Stean, modeling and showcasing her violin artistry.

This event is free and open to the public, so spend your Sunday in style.
