What’s happening in Denver and similar cities around the nation these days? Frank Lloyd Wright is super popular again and contemporary homes for sale in the Denver area are not gathering dust in this challenging real estate market.

This retro design craze does not stop with modern architecture. I recently visited the Denver Modernism Show at the stock show complex and it was full of retro furniture, books, clothing and accessories. In case you haven’t noticed there is a huge fad and it’s retro. So, get your metro retro on and join in.

Recently 303 Magazine and RealArchitecture threw a well attended event to celebrate the release of the April Design Issue. The event was held at a new, spectacular modern residence in LoHi (Lower Highlands). David Berton of RealArchitecture is the architect of this amazing home visible from I-25 & Speer Blvd.

David has been designing and building both residential and commercial modern architecture for over a decade. You may have seen some of RealArchitecture’s attractive and modern townhome projects around the city like the Highlands, Sloans Lake and Washing Park. Their latest modern marvel is a two-story home on E Jewell.

Design/Build firms like RealArchitecture with a modern flare are busy while many industries that support construction are not. In fact, the listing agent for RealArchitecture, Kris Berton of Kentwood Cherry Creek noted that her modern listings are outpacing the rest.
