As 2010 comes to a close today, it seems appropriate to reflect on some of the most profound and provocative fashion moments from this year.

On February 11, the fashion industry lost one of the most talented and iconic fashion designers to date. Mr. Alexander McQueen treated fashion as art and created uniquely edgy designs. His fashion legacy has, and will, live on.

Fashion elite found a new fashion week home in September at Lincoln Center. While many were apprehensive about the change of venue from Bryant Park, the space proved to be a perfect set-up for designers to show their Spring 2011 collections.
