With New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks over, there is a lot to be excited about come spring. I’m particularly looking forward to four trends: citrus colors, wide leg trousers (bye bye skinny leg pants), preppy and 70’s dresses.

Citrus colors were on many catwalks across the globe, showing up in dresses, suits and swimwear. Designers like Mulberry, Gucci, Proenza Schouler, Calvin Klein and Costume National.

Wide leg trousers are going to make a huge statement this spring from professional wear to denim. Embracing the loose look were designers like Marc Jacobs, Derek Lam, Alexander Wang and John Galliano.

Preppy, always a mainstay in spring shows, was in full force, walking down the runways of Stella McCartney, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger and Peter Som.

Embracing a vintage vibe are the spring’s omnipresent seventies inspired frocks. Printed, full-skirted and classic, these retro dresses are divine.
