It’s First Friday! Whole bunch of great art shows tonight, I recommend checking out “Refraction” at the Ice Cube Gallery, a solo show by nationally recognized artist Soo Sunny Park. Also, “Down with the Sickness Too” at Illiterate, curated by Travis Egedy (a la Pictureplane), will go down in the books as one of the wildest shows this summer, and that is a promise. Next door from Illiterate at Indy Ink is a nice little group show curated by THINKMULE and Melanie Pruitt. The new Blackbook Gallery, run by the former owner of Andenken, is showcasing the work of the iconic Denver Street artist Jolt. Going to be a great night to be out-and-about!
