On May 3rd, 1st Bank Center hosted Glory 16. “Glory kickboxing is a fast-paced sport which allows fighters to use any fighting style they like, so long as they are standing.” Glory was founded in 2012 Glory Sports International Pte Ltd. partners Pierre Andurand, Marcus Luer, Scott Rudmann and Total Sports Asia. The company has its headquarters in Singapore. It consists of heavyweight, middleweight, lightweight, and welter weight. Maureen Riordon, female MMA fighter from Broomfield, CO, made her fighting debut defeating her opponent Brenda Hernandez by TKO. The welterweight fighters consisted of Karapet Karaetyan vs Marc De Bonte. The tournament winner was Errol Zimmerman. Other fighters consisted of: Mwekassa, Pat Barry, Anderson Silva, Sergi Kharitonov, Ben Edwards, and many more. Great evening of intense fighting.
