This weekend isn’t the only opportunity to see green… green beers or green 7-Up, it is also your last opportunity to visit the Denver Art Museum and see Brilliant: Cartier In The 20th Century as it comes to a close March 17th, but it also an opportunity to experience talented artists showcased for The Month of Photography   featuring works of art in black & white and color.

“The DAM will host the world-exclusive exhibition of Brilliant: Cartier In The 20th Century, featuring stunning jewelry, timepieces, and precious objects created between 1900 and 1975. This exhibition highlights Cartier’s rise to preeminence—and the historical events pushing the Maison’s, or design house’s, evolution—as it transformed itself into one of the world’s most prestigious names in jewelry and luxurious accessories. Organized by the DAM, the exhibition will be on view in the Anschutz and Martin and McCormick galleries on level two of the Hamilton Building.”

This is also the 53rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is “the perfect excuse for a weekend full Irish-themed revelry in the Mile High City”. You can always expect to see green at the parade. The parade winds is way through LoDo with a start time of 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14th. Watch for the Megapolitan Super Float that offers the parade goers a spectacular Super Heroes & Super Heroines vs. Mad Scientists & Villains theme. Ronnie Nelson has been working with talented artisans since the late 1990’s to create floats that are beyond imaginative and that the entire family will enjoy. May the road always rise up to meet you.

Don’t let art and creative energy pass you by, find a way, even on what can be considered a brilliantly crazy green weekend pass you by. Here’s to seeing you out and about, safely and artistically this weekend and this month.
